Hi Tom I totally agree! I went travelling across Europe with a former acquaintance and now we’re like sisters (I say sisters because we love and hate each other and understand each other, much more than just BFFs) We went through the fun and the tough times together and It was definitely make us grow in a odd way lol. I realized that its not the location that makes the trip memorable and different from every other person’s; but the people you spent time with, the people you meet along the way, the effort you put into going outside your comfort zone to understand the local culture and learning from them. I highly recommend trying out Couchsurfing or hitchhiking for that!
